Colour: Very large and round in shape with red stripes on a yellowish skin.
Taste: Crisp texture and bursting with sweet aromatic juice, an excellent eating apple for those with a big appetite.
Did you know: The World’s heaviest apple as recorded in the Guinness Book of Records in 2005 is a Hokuto apple (1,849 grams), grown in Hirosaki city in Aomori prefecture.
