About the 'Åkerö' apple
Colour: Medium to large sized oval shape. The skin colour is a pale primrose with pink flush.
Taste: Pale cream coloured flesh with a juicy refreshing raspberry like flavour.
Did you know: Originating in the 18th century, Åkerö is regarded as the best Swedish apple. Named after the Åkerö Manor located south of Stockholm, where according to some it was originally found as a seedling.
